Little by little...
Here are some part painted models. I am quite happy with this Man At Arms. I may yet add a little brown ink about his feet and legs, armour never stays that pristine in a fight!
I am currently putting lists together. I might be in for a few quid with the Perry Brothers. I am currently looking at getting 20 boxes of the Bills and Bowmen and about four of the Mercenaries. I will also be getting mounted troops and command models. That's where the really big hit is. I guess I have been preparing this project since I cam into wargaming. The period is what got my historical juices going so to speak. Cheers, Richard
Worth looking at Warlord Games' website - they do (or at least did) a Retinue deal where you get 4 boxes for £55 instead of £60. If you're buying in bulk then the saving could add up!
Nice work! Good to see progress on the painting front (sadly further than I have yet managed to get, but there you go!)
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of depressing you, how many do you have to do in total for your WotR project?
