Building the Perry Plastics

I have built the following models from the Bowman and Bills/Mercenaries box sets -
  • 3 Men At Arms
  • 7 Longbowmen
  • 3 Crossbowmen
  • 5 Billmen
  • 1 Hand Gunner

I have undercoated the batch with grey primer (Army Painter). I have started muddling about with some colour schemes. As you can see from an earlier post the Hand Gunner has the livery of a Burgundian. I have done a few models with a White and Red livery. I intend to paint at least ten models with a white/green livery to represent either Henry Tudor/Earl of Pembroke/Rivers. The others will be painted in blue and murrey(dark red).

  1. Hi Richard,

I have found my way to your blog via your comments on my own (General Headquarters.) It's good to learn somebody else out there is at the same project at me! I am currently clipping and glueing away frantically with my own boxes, so thought I'd send a message of support!

In answer to the kind offer you left as a comment, yes that would be great - if you learn anything regarding livery colours etc. then that would be great to hear about!

    All the best,
    Craig

  2. Thanks for your support Craig. Let me know if there is anything in particular you need and I will have a delve. From reading your blog you have it pretty well covered. I won't be putting my books away for at least a month...I hope.
